President

Shannel studied business at Dillard University and University of Phoenix. Prior to her involvement in the hospitality industry, she began her career working with non-profit organizations developing tools to support the quality of life for senior citizens and children. After working a small event in New Orleans, Shannel became interested in hospitality service. She started as a secretary for a security company that led her to Security Management.

Shannel’s professional experience includes security and meetings management for trade shows and conventions nationwide. While her roots are grown in New Orleans, she did not limit her talents to the “Big Easy,” she has successfully managed events at well-known Convention Centers in Washington, DC; San Diego and Anaheim,  California; Dallas, Texas; Boston, Massachusetts, and Chicago, Illinois – just to name a few.

Shannel started CTS SERVICES to continue providing professional, courteous, and responsive security and event staff teams from “start to finish” for some of the largest and most prestigious conventions, and events at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, downtown hotels along with other local businesses throughout the greater New Orleans area. CTS SERVICES is a proud partner of New Orleans & Company and Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and has become one of the city’s premier security and event staffing companies.
