Supervisors

• Ensures staff is knowledgeable of all aspects of venue and site location.
• Debrief guards with daily access authorizations and activities before post assignment.
• Understands emergency procedures such as bomb threats, fire, intruders, personal injuries, power failure, etc.
• Knowledgeable of CPR, Heimlich maneuver, and other life saving techniques.
• Ability to communicate without discrimination or harassment.

Badge Checkers

• Assures everyone has proper daily credentials before allowing access to show floor.
• Demonstrates good public relations.

Booth Security

• Secure valuables/materials behind booths.

Freight Gate Monitors

• Alert and attentive at all times as this area has a high volume of activity and can be vulnerable for potential theft.
• Observes all freight movement; not allowing any hand-carried items. Observations are noted and reported.
• Inspects all badges during move-in / move-out.
• Inspects trash carts exiting the halls.
• Reports all suspicious activity and instances where rules are not followed accordingly.

Hall Entrance Monitors

• Controls access to the show floor.
• Thoroughly screen all attendees, exhibitors, site & show personnel, and packages.
• Maintains crowd control.
• Demonstrates good public relations.
• Knowledgeable of all venue and site access routes.

Ambassadors

• Provides directional support to attendees.
• Supports registration check-ins.
• Demonstrates great customer service.

Rover Patrol

• Walks show floor to see and hear what is going on.
• Observes and reports any and all suspicious activity.
• Responds to emergencies.
• Prevent potential dangerous and/or hazardous situations.
• Observes and reports all movement of people and/or packages after show hours.
• Demonstrates good public relations.
• Relieves staff members for breaks and lunch.
